I'll never forget when the guys on the Ticket ripped the DMN and me for my story on the SportsDay front about the local swimming sensation, Dana Vollmer. They were unforgiving in their criticism. But what did they know? Nothing. Dana went on to win a medal at the Olympics a couple of years later. So, Tyra, they don't know nothing (most notably, about how to balance motherhood and a career). Keep it up!
People who post anonymous comments on Frontburner or any blog are ridiculous. Those blog comment areas, particularly on Frontburner, often seem to degenerate into the worst form of cyber bullying. This is not the first time I've read comments on there and absolutely cringed. I'd guess that most of those people didn't even read your work! It WAS a good column, particularly for an "intro column," which I think are the most difficult. Hugs, Holly

Good heavens! You're nobody in this town til "Mr. Funny Guy" seltzers you in the eye, eh?
Yeah, I read that on their blog yesterday and cringed a little. Awfully harsh!
This is the reason I could never be a reporter or columnist. I'd end up stooping to their level.
You've definitely got them squawking. Don't let them ruffle your feathers, they're just making a whole lotta noise with no real sounds. Stand tall.
